When we went to the dentist in January, we came away with this lovely carnation. Unfortunately, the flower part was not attached to the stem. I don't know if we got it that way, or if Lacey broke it in the car or something. I was going to just throw it away, but I couldn't bring myself to, so I just left it on the table. And then a short time later, I found this. I thought it was pretty silly.
