Afternoon at the Manti temple

We took a trip down to Manti so that Phil could attend his friend's sealing. I wanted to go visit my grandparents there, but they were out of town that afternoon. Lacey and I decided to go anyway, to keep Daddy company on the trip, since Daddy was not so excited about making the drive all by himself. Lacey and I got to walk around the temple grounds while Daddy was inside. We got some nice pictures along the way.

3 year anniversary

April 12 was 3 years since we were sealed for time and eternity. It's been a fantastic 3 years. We've been blessed with so much, and continue to be every day.

That Tuesday, I was lying down for a nap in the middle of the afternoon, as I usually do, and I heard Phil try to sneak in. It's pretty much impossible to do, since the place is so small. But I caught him trying to sneak in roses. For the past two years, he's gotten me the number of flowers equal to the number of years we've been married. But this year, he said, the single flowers didn't look pretty, so he got me a dozen. He instructed me to go take a nap while he divided the flowers in to 3s and placed them around the kitchen. He's such a sweetie. I stuck them back together since we didn't really have a vase small enough to hold just three flowers. Look how pretty! The best part of the whole thing was Phil trying to be sneaky. :)

BoBo baptism

At the beginning of April, we had the pleasure of attending the baptism of Lacey's cousin Eli. It was a beautiful ceremony, and it was wonderful to see everyone that was there. It's always wonderful to see these children making good decisions so early in life.

Lacey made her way to the baby seat in the corner as soon as we got there. Silly monkey.

Grandmother and Grandpa Bobo with the grandkids.

It looks like Lacey's scolding, but I'm pretty sure she's pointing. Either way, it's a cute picture.

Lacey seems to think that she can eat off of anyone's plate. I guess that's because Mommy lets her eat off of her plate. She kept stealing Uncle Ken's grapes.

 Water. And my little cutie.

Lacey had so much fun playing with the kids, and with Grandmother, as you can see.

Random things from the past few months

It's been a while! I've been wanted to update the blog for a while, but just haven't had the time/energy. Work+kid+pregnancy=one tired mommy! So I decided that I just need to buckle down and do it!

Yes, I've started working a few hours from home. I'm editing a textbook that someone wrote for the company that Phil works for. It's challenging, but I'm really enjoying it. It's fun to actually put my education to use, for a little while, anyway.

Phil has finished up his latest semester of class, and we're enjoying some time as a family without school and homework and stuff.

Lacey is just as happy and active as ever. She's learning new things every day, and she loves it so much. She's too darn smart for her own good, that's for sure. She knows her letters, numbers (she counts to 13), shapes, and we're working on colors now. She's so excited and enthusiastic about everything, it's exhausting. She is so sweet and loves everyone she sees. She says "Hello. Goodbye!" and the blows kisses to anyone who passes by when we're playing outside. It's hard to believe that she's turning 2 this Sunday! It's been, and continues to be, such a blessing to be her Mommy.

BoBo baby #2 is growing big and strong inside Mommy, and hasn't caused too many troubles yet. We found out a couple weeks ago that this baby is another girl, and we're so excited for Lacey to have a little sister. She's so good with little babies, and I know that she's going to be Mommy's little helper.

Here's a few fun random pictures from the past few months.

My mom sent me this maternity shirt when I found out I was expecting. Lacey loves to put it on and run around in it. It's a big risque on her, but she's so but. :)

Lacey playing video games. She doesn't do much but make her character jump, but it's cute the way she gets so excited about it. This particular game has Donald Duck and Goofy in it, and she loves to watch Daddy play it.

I just think that this is a cute picture. She's got smoothie all over her face, smoothie with a bit of spinach mixed in with it. It may sound weird, but it's delicious and you can't taste any spinach in it. If you can get past the green color, it's pretty good!

Lacey potty training Perry the platypus. If only she'd potty train herself. Oh well.

Lacey the rock star.

Stay tuned for more! I'm determined to get caught up!
