And the cutest was Lacey.

Lacey turned 9 months old on the 8th of February.

This is why I only let her feed herself on bath day. It sure is fun to watch her rub food all over her head, though.

It seems like every time I turn around, she's pulled herself up on something causing some sort of havoc. Here there's not so much havoc, but it sure did take us by surprise!

January with the BoBos

After the excitement of the holidays, January has been relatively dull. But obviously not dull enough for me to keep up with our blog. After all, how dull can life really be with a baby that's learning to crawl and get into everything. Yes, Lacey is really on the move now. She pushes with her feet and pulls with her arms, but she still doesn't get that tummy off the ground when she moves (though she has no problem getting up on her hands and knees when she's not moving). She can even sit up all by herself! Like, get on her bum from her knees sit.

As for the rest of us--Phil is taking 8 credits at school this semester and working full time. It might sound a little intense (it's the most credits he's taken at a time), but it's actually the lightest semester he's taken so far. I guess Bio 100 and Physical Science 101 don't stack up to Statistics 200 and Accounting 200. It sure is nice to have Daddy around NOT doing homework! I've had my hands full with Lacey, though since she'll sit and play with her toys by herself, I find that it's easier to keep my apartment clean lately. How nice! I've also started a new blog at http://the-dinner-project.blogspot.com/ .It's a recipe blog, cuz I love to cook and try new recipes, but it's hard to find new ones sometimes. I'm working on some exciting new posts, so stop by soon! Let me know if you would like to become a contributor!

Some pictures for fun!

Lacey gets into everything, and the laundry was probably the funnest thing yet.

Phil had to have a "nature experience" for his biology class this semester, so we all went up to the trail behind Rock Canyon Park and looked at dead trees in the snow. And lichen. There was lichen. What else do you do in Utah in winter? Seriously. This was Lacey's first experience in the snow. Probably her last one for a long time. Snow. Yuck. But what a cutie pie!

Phil's aunt got married and we had the pleasure of going to the open house after. There were lots of little cousins running around. Lacey loves her cousins. I think the feeling is mutual.

Mmmmmm.... cottage cheese.....

There were Cheerios on the bottom of this thing, and obviously she really wanted them. Silly baby.
